Moyes pointed out that the good giants missed out on rice when it was cheap

West Ham boss David Moyes has pointed out that the Premier League’s big clubs have missed the chance to sign Declan Rice for £100million.

The Scotland international had previously said the England midfielder was value at around £100 million last summer, and Moyes now views Rice’s fee is higher than that. And interested ufabet teams will have to pay more expensive than before.

“You have to spend big money to get close,” Moyes said. “I said in the summer that I think Declan Rice’s asking price is £100 million, so chances are you can get him for a cheap price. You can decide what I’m saying right now.”

“I feel his commitment, he still has a contract with the team. And we are very please to have him in the team. He will be here for many years to come.”

“He is like Declan Rice in the special edition, not many people are like him. He plays as well as any European midfielder. And it’s very expensive in January, isn’t it?”

In the transfer window, West Ham’s attempts to sign Jesse Lingard ended when Manchester United decided to keep him at Old Trafford.

West Ham were also linked with a £37m bid for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

‘The board were terrific,’ said Moyes. ‘They made funds available but we couldn’t get a couple of players I like. So would rather save the money.’
